The Best Beauty Tips for Glowing Skin

Have a dull complexion? Think that your skin could use a little “pick me up”? Before you turn to any laser treatments, surgical procedures or throw tons of money down the drain on expensive – and often ineffective – beauty products, try out these do it yourself home treatments to regain that youthful, glowing skin!
Honey-Based Treatments
Honey is a natural healer and contains a large number of essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin C, iron, phosphate, and calcium. It will moisturize your skin and also act as an anti-bacterial agent, meaning that your skin will look and be clean after use.
1) Take raw honey and apply it directly to your skin. After 20 minutes or so, wash it off with cold water and enjoy your new smooth and glowing complexion. Be sure that you secure your hair well and remove it from your forehead so it doesn’t become stuck to the honey (even though honey is a fantastic conditioner for your hair, too).
2) Create a paste involving one teaspoon of honey, lemon juice and walnut powder and then scrub your face. Leave the mix on for up to 20 minutes and wash it off with cold water.
3) Formulate a paste from mashed up banana, lemon juice, margarine and honey. Leave the paste on your face overnight. You can also apply it to your hands and feet, though be sure to wear socks and gloves if you are leaving it on overnight!
4) Mix egg white with honey to make a mixture that is thick enough to not be “runny”. Leave it on for 20 minutes, and rinse it off with cold water.
Fruit-Based Treatments
Everyone knows how wonderful fruit is for our insides, but fruit is also wonderful for our skin on the outside! Fruits are loaded with antioxidants (these reduce the signs of aging and also protect you from harmful UV rays) and several other vitamins and minerals that are actually absorbed through your skin. Because of this, the elasticity of your skin will improve, and your complexion will be absolutely glowing.
1) Mash up a banana and mix it with milk to create a sort of paste. Apply and leave on for 20 minutes, and then wash it off with cold water.
2) Take a piece of papaya and simply rub it up and down your face and neck for up to 15 minutes.
3) Take some orange juice and mix in 2 tablespoons of turmeric. Scrub the mix all over your face and neck and leave it up for about 20 minutes. Follow up by washing it off with cold water.
4) Powder some mango peels and mix in 1 teaspoon of milk powder. Rub it on your face, neck and hands and rinse off after 15 minutes.
Other Skin Treatments
1) Give yourself the Vaseline treatment once or twice a month! Apply Vaseline all over your body and leave it on for one whole hour and then shower. Your skin will be baby-smooth.
2) Mix some milk or water with fresh fenugreek leaves so that you create a sort of paste. Apply it to your face and say “goodbye” to those blackheads, pimples, any facial dryness and wrinkles!
3) Take 2 teaspoons of sugar and 3 teaspoons of baby oil and mix them together. Rub your feet, your hands, or any other part of your body with this and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water and enjoy your new, supple skin.
